Regardless of sports allegiances or really even any interest in sports at all, when Fabrice Muamba collapsed on the pitch in the 41st minute of the Tottenham-Bolton match, the world was horrified and worried. That such a fit, young athlete could suffer from a cardiac arrest seemed unthinkable, yet it's more common than we know.

While it can be a frightening thing that can come out of nowhere, there are still some things we need to understand about cardiac arrests, especially in the young and athletic. Dr. Ahmad Khairuddin from IJN joins us to discuss the process of cardiac arrests, while Azran bin Ahmad, an exercise physiologist discusses recovery.
